A Staycation to remember

One of the important things needed to enjoy a vacation is accommodation. In Markes by the Sea, we have a stunning, stylish, newly renovated 2-bedroom house. But first, let us explore the location first.

Marske-by-the-Sea is a village in the unitary authority of Redcar and Cleveland and the ceremonial county of North Yorkshire, England. It is located on the coast, between the seaside resorts of Redcar and Saltburn-by-the-Sea, although it is not itself a seaside resort.

What so interesting about Marske-by-the-sea is that it is accessible to nearby areas like Saltburn, Staiths, and Runswick Bay.

Staithes is a pretty coastal village a few miles north of Whitby. For generations Staithes has been home to industrious fishermen, braving the North Sea. It also has a long connection with artists and is home to one of the biggest art and heritage festivals in the north of England. While Runswick Bay is a couple of miles south of Staithes. It is home to a beach which is regularly voted as one of the best in the country. Much smaller than Staithes, Runswick is a perfect picnic spot or location for a day at the beach. Both villages are definitely worth a visit if you’re exploring the North Yorkshire coast.

Saltburn-by-the-sea is the best Seaside town in Yorkshire. Saltburn has been named among the best places to live in the country. The seaside town has landed a place in The Sunday Times Best Places to Live list. And among the things picked out as highlights are the Seaview Restaurant, and “elegant” pier, transport links and school.

The Saltburn Cliff Lift is one of the world’s oldest water-powered funiculars—the oldest being the Bom Jesus funicular in Braga, Portugal. After the opening of Saltburn Pier in 1869, it was concluded that the steep cliff walk was deterring people from walking from the town to the pier.

The delightful coastal town Saltburn-by-the-sea bestows plenty of Victorian charm and thrills. From the water-balanced cliff lifts to the last remaining pier in Yorkshire, Saltburn promises its visitors an authentic seaside experience!

Wow, there is a lot to explore, but we do have a property you can relax and unwind after a long day.

It is NO 3 ROSEDENE MUSE by Yorkshire Coast Holiday Lets.

This property is situated opposite the beautiful St Marks church in the center of the village, boasting an off-street parking space and an outside grass area. Inside there is an open-plan lounge, diner, and kitchen, plus a downstairs toilet. Upstairs are two characterful bedrooms with old beams and a stunning shower room with a rainfall shower.

It has a  stylish lounge has a large comfy L shape sofa with a 50″ smart TV to relax and enjoy. There is a dining table and 3 chairs to enjoy your evening meal.

The main bedroom with exposed beams has a double bed, hanging rails and chest of draws so plenty of space to store your clothes.

The 2nd bedroom has a double bed also but it is shorter than normal hence saying really only suitable for one person, again hanging rail and draws.

The bathroom is stunning, very stylish and although compact it boasts a large shower with rainfall shower.

There is a Free WIFI and all beddings and towels included, no washing machine but there are laundrettes in near by Saltburn and Redcar.
