Hi! I am Cara Shardlow and I started up Yorkshire Coast Holiday Lets last year.

I’ve previously run a livery yard and coached horse riding for over 20 years from my family’s old dairy farm just outside Whitby. I also competed Internationally in Dressage. I also love the outdoor, running, cycling and walking, I compete in Duathlon’s having qualified for the Europeans in my age group in 2018.

I had been running my own holiday cottage for a couple of years and really enjoying giving my guests a great experience and it seemed a natural progression with my interest in property to build up my holiday lets and run them for other people too.

I just love the area around Yorkshire Coast it’s so special, which is why it was voted one on the most visited places in the UK last year, the fact I can now help to make my guests stay here even better is just fantastic!
