Whitby is also known for its festivals and events throughout the year, including the Goth Weekend, regatta and steampunk events, so there is often plenty going on.

If you want to explore further afield, the North York Moors are close by for walking and day trips, and places like Robin Hood’s Bay and Staithes are both easy to reach. This location works especially well for guests who want a proper seaside stay with everything close at hand.
