Situated in the centre of West Cliff with views over to East Cliff, you are just a stroll away from the shops, bars and restaurants that can be found in the bustling streets of this town. Enjoy the views and walk down past the Whale Bones to the seaside, or stroll through the centre of town to the swing bridge. Whitby has a 3km golden sandy beach which is perfect for all the family whether its catching crabs, exploring for fossils on the rocks or building sand castle replicas of the famous Whitby Abbey.
Climb the 199 steps following the storyline of Bram Stokers Dracula and the beast that is said to have raced up after the shipwreck. Whitby is famous for its fish and chips, but has an abundance of cafs, bars and restaurants to suit everyone. Whitby is host to an increasing number of popular festivals including the bi-annual Goth weekender, a regatta and steampunk events to name but a few, as well as a chance to explore the older East Cliff cobbled back streets. On the doorstep you have the awe inspiring beauty of the North York Moors National Park which is perfect for walkers to explore, or take a trip into the heart of the moorland on board a steam train.
There are waterfalls to explore, olde worlde villages and some of the finest views in the country. Further afield you can visit the medieval walled town of York with its network of shops and bars, Jorvik Viking Centre and the National Railway Museum. Lightwater Valley and Flamingo Land theme parks are within easy reach, as are the many coves and villages dotted along the Yorkshire Heritage Coastline, many with links to explorer James Cook. Robin Hoods Bay and Staithes are just two that have stories of old pirates and smuggling. Beach 300 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards. Ideal for dog walkers, we allow well behaved dogs to stay. Train station 1/2 mile Main bus station 1/2 mile. Self check in with key box at the back where the parking space is.

Please note all bookings will be managed by my own company Yorkshire Coast Holiday Lets and all your reservation details will be emailed under that name so look out for emails from them for check in details etc. Thanks Cara.
